Der von vielen für einen Volkshelden gehaltene Drasius Kedys, von dem behauptet wird, er habe in Kaunas zwei Menschen getötet und seitdem auf der Flucht sei, wurde am 18 April ca 30 km von Kaunas tot aufgefunden. Medienberichten zufolge haben seine Angehörigen ihn bereits identifiziert. Der Staatsanwalt Raimondas Petrauskas äusserte sich gegenüber LNK TV mit der Aussage, es könne Drasius’ Leiche sein, mit 90-prozentiger Wahrscheinlichkeit.

The folk hero Drasius Kedys, who allegedly had shot two people in Kaunas and was on the run since then, was found dead some 30 km from Kaunas on 18 April. Media reports that his relatives identified the body. The Acting General Prosecutor Raimondas Petrauskas said to LNK TV news that the found body could be that of Drasius Kedys, but he gave 90 per cent.
